The Most Important Lesson in Life

I am an alumnus who graduated from the undergraduate accounting program in UT. While at UT, I joined Christians on Campus and from them I learned a very important lesson in life, which is how to enjoy Christ.

I had been a Christian since I was seven, but I only knew to worship the Lord Jesus by praying and doing things to serve Him. However, when the Lord led me to Christians on Campus, I found a group of joyful believers who enjoyed Christ. They praised Him and called on His name joyfully which was so attractive to me. Not only had I found lovers of Christ, but also I remembered having a strong sense of the Lord's presence in that meeting.

Growing up in Singapore, I was very active in Christian activities and by seventeen I was leading a Bible study and was president of a Christian fellowship in my junior college. I felt like I was more mature in spiritual things than my peers, but I still felt a great lack in knowing the Lord.

When I began meeting with Christians on Campus, I felt like a spiritual baby among them. Throughout my years of involvement with them I have been fed and nourished by our fellowship in the Lord's word through the enjoyment of our wonderful Christ. I love the words, “Enjoy Christ!” I hope that all those who read my testimony will find and enjoy Christ as much as I have.
